The stitches breeze across the variation, creating their own spectacular movement, with a sturdy cable to hold them in place. It’s an easy to memorize pattern stitch making it a wonderful first shawl pattern with enough technique that even a seasoned shawl knitter will find it enjoyable.

Finished Dimensions: Approximately 90”/228.5 cm wingspan and 30”/76.0 cm deep after washing and blocking 
Gauge: 20 sts and 36 rows = 4”/10.0 cm in Pattern Stitch after washing and blocking. 
Needles: US 6 (4 mm), 32” circular, or preferred needles for working a large number of sts flat.
